Summer in Volda

Today has been a perfect summer day. Bbq, drinks, jacuzzi, shisha, music and heaps of talking. Me, Madeleine and Hilde has been enjoying my parents "leave" the whole day out in our vintergarden with the doors wide open, because the sun was to warm to sit in. Tomorrow there will be drinks with a bunch of girls at my house, let's just hope the house doesn't get trashed.

put my happy lights up on one of the walls btww!

Tusenfryd

Drove to Hanne's cabin again after i finished work monday at 21-ish. Then we decided to drive to what I think is norway's biggest amusement park, Tusenfryd(*)! It was a loong drive, 7 hours. We thought it would only take about 5, but there was a flood in Lillehammer so we had to drive a detour.

When we arrived it was amazing weather, we are talking tropical heat. Not that awesome to be standing in line to though, haha.

annd monday night at the cabin, we watched the sunset on the roof. the time was around 12-ish

Tusenfryd(*), placed right outside the capital, Oslo!

Grotli & Lom

On monday me and some friends had tapas and ice cream. We played "Do you want to be a millionaire" and talked heaps. At the end of the evening me and Hanne (my second companion to the trip) decided to drive to her cabin at Grotli. So we did and the morning after we were supposed to go on a mountain but of course we over-slept and skipped that part of the day. Instead we went straight to Lom, a adorable place with a very famous bakery. The drive to Lom is also very beautiful.

Somewhere between Lom and Grotli

When I came back from Grotli and Lom my dad's iPhone 5 was waiting for me, FINALLY. Me, Hilde and Helenah bought a pizza and today I had my first day at work after what feels like forever.

And this is me now, ready to relax with Teen Wolf and documentaries

My awesome week

My week has been awesome. On monday it was Jonsok(*) so me and some friends had a bbq and watched Mexico vs. Croatia, go Mexico!! After the bbq me and Madeleine decided to drive to Geiranger, where we spent the night at Hanne's place. We woke up to beautiful surroundings and went to have a look at all the touristic places we could think of. Ørnesvingen, the Queens chair and Dalsnibba.

After Geiranger we thought we would go home, buut instead we went to Brikdalsbreen in Olden. It's a glacier, part of Jostedalsbreen, Norway's biggest glacier. And wow, amazing place.

We came home late and I mentally prepared for the final AFS camp that was coming up the next morning. This is the last camp for exchange students in Norway before they go home. Amazing group of people, and it is so fascinating listening to them speaking norwegian. A Canadian boy spoke so good I thought he was one of the leaders! We have this camp so they can prepare for the culture "shock" they might run into when they get home. But most of the time we played cards and volleyball.

At the moment I'm really tired. We took the bus from Haugen gård in Oppdal around 20.00-ish. And we arrived at Gardermoen around 2.30 in the morning. I slept in the bus, but not good at all because I was freezing. So that's why I'm tired.. It's 7 am and I slept maybe 1 hour, definitely worth it though!

The Canadian with the perfect Norwegian! (Trønder)

Ohh and I almost forgot to say that I passed High School!! I found out last Friday at 11pm, and me and Madeleine just had to celebrate. We got drunk and had an awesome talk with Michal and he drove us to Shell to get food at 5am in the morning!
